HOW WE OPERATE

Testing, verification & policy

What actually happens to a product before it's allowed on the PriceShop catalog.

HARDWARE TESTING

Nothing is listed on a spec sheet alone

Manufacturer spec sheets describe the best possible outcome under lab conditions. Our bench team re-runs the core claims — battery drain under continuous use, Bluetooth range through drywall, driver frequency response — and lists the number we actually measured.

If a unit's real-world figure falls meaningfully short of the manufacturer's claim, it's either relisted with the corrected number or it doesn't make the catalog at all.

THE VERIFICATION PIPELINE

Four stages before a listing goes live

STAGE 01

Intake inspection

Unit is checked against manufacturer documentation for build tolerances and included accessories.

STAGE 02

72-hour burn-in

The unit runs continuously to surface early battery or thermal failures before it ever reaches a customer.

STAGE 03

Compatibility pass

Paired against current iOS, Android, Windows and macOS builds to confirm the compatibility list is accurate.

STAGE 04

Safety documentation

FCC, CE and RoHS paperwork is cross-checked against the physical unit's markings before listing approval.

POLICIES

Shipping, returns & warranty

Shipping

Free shipping on orders over $75. Standard orders ship within 1–2 business days and arrive in 3–6 days depending on region.

Returns

30 days to return any unit in its original condition, no restocking fee. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Warranty

Verified units carry up to a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, tracked by serial number at intake.

FULFILLMENT FLOOR

Packed after it passes, not before

Verified units leave the bench with a serial log and intake notes attached. They are staged for dispatch within 1–2 business days — not dropped into a generic warehouse queue where a failed unit could still ship.

If a check fails at any stage, the unit never reaches a carton. What leaves the floor is the same hardware that passed burn-in, compatibility, and safety documentation.
